His Holiness Pujya Acharya Shri Roop Chandra ji Maharaj is the lifetime President of Manav Mandir Mission Trust. A renowned academician, philosopher, writer, and poet. H.H. Acharya Shri is a scholar of Jain studies of great repute. He has rendered extraordinary service to humanity and human development armed with a visionary zeal and total commitment. He has been traveling to various countries and in India to promote global peace, non-violence, universal brotherhood, and spiritual values. Manav Mandir Gurukul

Manav Mandir Gurukul is one of the arms of Manav Mandir Mission Trust conceived by Acharya Shree Roopchandra Ji Maharaj. The Gurukul is devoted to the idea of Sadhana (Discipline) and Seva (Service). In the direction of bringing a positive change and providing holistic education to the children belonging to needy and deprived sections of the society, the Gurukul was started on the auspicious Mahavir Jayanti Day in 1993 in the temple building, at Ganga Vihar, Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi.

Manav Mandir Gurukul is one of the arms of Manav Mandir Mission Trust which has been working for the educational cause of disadvantaged children since 1993. It believes that education is the single most powerful intervention for transforming lives and getting rid of the vicious cycle of poverty. For hundreds of deprived children, education is the only weapon that will open the doors to provide them with equal opportunity, so that they can grow, learn and realize their potential.

Manav Mandir Gurukul is involved in providing educational assistance including Academic support (in the form of after-school tuition classes), Material support (in the form of school bags, shoes, books, uniforms, lunchboxes and other essentials that help a child go to school with dignity), Medical support and Counselling (individual child counselling as well as parents counselling) to the children belonging to underprivileged sections of society.

Manav Mandir Gurukul is working for the impoverished children residing in the urban slums of Sarai Kale Khan, children of Pakistani Hindu Refugees residing in Majnu ka Tila as well as the disadvantaged children from the remote pockets of Uttarakhand. The Gurukul also mobilizes parents, teachers and community elders to make them active stakeholders in the process of change. It has achieved measurable success in the last few years in assisting the education of about hundreds of children.

Manav Mandir Mission Trust

Manav Mandir Mission Trust was laid on the 3rd of November, 1989 by Acharya Shri Roop Chandra Ji Maharaj. It is a non-profit public charitable trust registered at Ludhiana in Punjab under Section 42 of the Indian Trust Act. A total of seven persons are the trustees of the trust which includes the founder and president himself. The other six individuals were nominated by the founder president as the trustees to assist him in the running of the trust.
Manav Mandir Mission Trust is currently working in the following different sectors of social work:
