Gaurav was three when he entered the Ashram. He considers himself very lucky to be here, “I can’t imagine what would I be if not for the Ashram.” In Ashram he believes he has grown in every way possible. “I would have never got these opportunities otherwise.” Gaurav has completed his final year at the Medical School(Naturopathy) and is now on apprenticeship.

At Ashrm, Gaurav has a unique place in everyone’s heart. He enjoys coming back from college to the Ashram, his family. Having studied Medical (Naturopathy). Gaurav wants to use his expertise in helping others and dreams of starting his own bussiness.

Gaurav has a knack for stratergy based games, He likes playing chess and has secured many prizes in Yoga and Taekwondo. In his free time, he enjoys reading books. Inspired by Shiv Khera’s You can Win, Gaurav says “I felt like I could do something after reading the book.” The book set him into thinking and ticked a bussiness idea in his mind. “My main focus is to be a businessman. I am reading about business & start-up ideas.” Gaurav has a quite a few plans in his mind, he wants to help expand Seva Dham or set up a coaching centre or school for kids. He picked the habits of reading from his school. “When I was in class 11 my classmates used to read novels, I picked this habit from them”, he said.

Gaurav says he can’t imagine his life without Manav Mandir Gurukul. Having spent his childhood in the Ashram he believes that in living with others we learn a lot. “I have loads of friends here and a lot of memories.” “You learn adjustment the most”, says Gaurav. “By staying and sleeping and sharing with them. We adjust to each other. We have fun and chill out together. We discuss a lot of things. It’s a learning experience in the end.”

Gaurav like other kids in the Ashram is working towards realizing his own goals, he owes it to the Ashram where everyone is encouraged to follow and be determined in achieving the best of their potential. He feels grateful to 1E company for always supporting him in his academics and realizing his self-worth. He never steps back from helping others- from the little act of keeping up with the everyday functioning of the Ashram to helping his friends in paying their fee, he never shies away from extending his hand and is rightfully doing what he has been taught all his life-to help, other humans.
