‘World Environment Day’ celebrated by HUDCO and Sevadham Plus at Manav Mandir Premises

On June 5, 2024, Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), in association with Seva Dham Plus, celebrated World Environment Day at the Manav Mandir premises. The event was graced by prominent figures from HUDCO, including Shri Sanjay Kulshreshta Ji, Chairman & Managing Director, Shri M Nagraj Ji, Director of Corporate Planning, and Shri Rajiv Sharma Ji, Executive Director, along with other significant personnel. From Seva Dham Plus, Sadhvi Samta Shri and Shri Arun Yogi Ji, among others, participated.
The program commenced with blessings from Pujya Gurudev Ji Acharya Shri Roopchandra Ji Maharaj, who emphasized the importance of environmental conservation in today’s world. This was followed by the ‘Deep Prajwalan’ ceremony, enhanced by a ‘Deep Vandana’ and ‘Swagat Geet’ performed by two Gurukul girls ‘Shikha’ and ‘Pinki’. Shri M Nagraj Ji, Shri Sanjay Kulshreshta Ji and others planted trees on the premises, symbolizing their commitment to environmental restoration. The event featured several captivating performances by Gurukul children, including a natak that delivered a powerful message about the importance of saving trees. Additionally, speeches were given by children on the necessity of environmental preservation.
A two-round quiz was organized to raise environmental awareness among the children. The dignitaries emphasized the importance of protecting the environment and advocated for sustainable resource use. The principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle were highlighted and promoted. The program concluded with the felicitation of Gurukul children who excelled in their annual examinations. Quiz winners, speech winner, and natak performers were also honoured by HUDCO. The event ended with a heartfelt thank you note from the Gurukul children to HUDCO, followed by a brunch.
